This Privacy Policy explains how Rein Hero (“Rein Hero,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Iron Skull Studios, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Rein Hero mobile application and related services (the “App”).

By using Rein Hero, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

Account information — your email address and password when you create an account.
Profile details — your name, barn name, horses, division, chosen role, and an optional profile photo.
Content you create — courses, shows, classes, entries, ride times, fees, results, barn tasks, routines, crew updates, and rider card customizations.
Photos — images you choose from your device to import a course or set a profile picture. We access your camera or photo library only when you initiate one of these actions.
Communications — messages you send us for support.

Information collected automatically

Device and usage data — basic technical information such as device type, operating system, and app version, used to keep the App working and to diagnose errors.

How We Use Your Information

To provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
To create and manage your account and profile.
To sync your courses, shows, and other content across your sessions and devices.
To enable collaborative features you choose to use, such as sharing a show, tasks, or crew updates by code, or adding friends.
To send you notifications you have enabled, such as ride-time reminders.
To respond to your support requests.
To protect the security and integrity of the App.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

Features you choose — when you share a show, schedule, or task list by code, or add a friend, the relevant information becomes visible to the people you share it with.
Service providers — we use trusted third parties to run the App, including Supabase for secure account authentication and data storage, and Cloudflare for website hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
App stores — subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your full payment card details; those are handled by the app store.
Legal reasons — when required to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of our users.

Data Storage and Security

Your account and synced content are stored securely with our backend provider. Some information, such as your collectibles, preferences, and saved routines, is also stored locally on your device. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your Choices and Rights

You can view and edit your profile at any time within the App.
You can control notification permissions in your device settings.
You can request that we delete your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information.

Children’s Privacy

Rein Hero is intended for riders aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us. We encourage parents and guardians to be involved in a minor’s use of the App.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of Rein Hero after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
